United face their third challenge of pre-season tomorrow, as Jimmy Ball’s side make the short trip across Torbay to take on Brixham AFC at Wall Park (11/07/26 3pm KO)
Having hit the goal trail in their opening wins at Buckland (W6-0) and Cullompton (W5-1), The Gulls will be looking to put in another positive performance and get more valuable minutes in the tank on Saturday, as their preparations towards the 2026/27 campaign continues.

Tomorrow’s Opponents
Brixham AFC will be back in the Jewson Western League again next term, after their first-ever season competing in the Southern League ended in disappointment following relegation.
For a side formed only 14 years ago, the Fishermen’s rise to the eighth tier – just two below Torquay – was a remarkable feat in itself, and there’s plenty of optimism around Wall Park that they can use last season’s experience to their advantage and bounce back again at the first attempt.
Tomorrow’s encounter isn’t the first time Torquay have travelled to Wall Park, as the two sides battled out a competitive Devon St Luke’s Challenge Bowl tie last September.
In front of a bumper crown of 912, Cole Harford gaves the hosts the lead, before a last-gasp leveller from Matt Carson forced a penalty shoot-out.
Ironically, both scorers failed to net in the resulting spot-kick test, and it was Brixham who eventually prevailed 4-3 on pens.
