Attacking right-back arrives at Plainmoor
Torquay United have bolstered their squad with the loan signing of Yeovil defender Jordan Thomas.
With resident right-back Finley Craske currently sidelined by injury, Gulls boss Paul Wotton has moved quickly to strengthen his options, with Thomas eligible to feature in this Saturday’s Isuzu FA Trophy clash at home to Truro City.
Having began his senior career with Norwich City, Jordan got a brief taste of Premier League action with a substitute appearance against defending champions Manchester City in July 2020, before gaining further first-team experience in the EFL at Leyton Orient the following season.
After departing Carrow Road in 2021, moves to Barnet and Hampton & Richmond followed, prior to the 23 year-old signing a two-year deal at Yeovil in the summer.
Since then, the attack-minded full-back has gone on to make five appearances in the division above, in addition to completing a temporary stint at National League South rivals Salisbury, where he made ten outings for The Whites.
Having impressed for them during their clash with Wotton’s Torquay last week, the Yellow Army can now look forward to seeing the player in a Gulls shirt instead.
Welcome to Plainmoor, Jordan!
