Omar Mussa’s first goal for United in the 2-1 victory over Worthing, has seen the player receive the BVEC Goal of the Month accolade for October.
The half time introduction of Omar Mussa in the home game against Worthing, saw the player grab his first goal for United while also picking up an assist for the winning goal from his corner.
Omar spoke about his delight at receiving the October accolade.
“It feels very special to pick up this award as voted for by the Yellow Army. I just remember picking up the ball and suddenly everything opened up in front of me, so i just looked up and took the shot, and thankfully it went beyond the keepers reach and into the bottom corner.”
