Torquay United is delighted to announce that goalkeeper James Hamon has signed a new one-year deal to stay at Plainmoor for 2025/26.
Hamon was an integral part of United’s promotion push in 2024-25, playing every minute of our League and Cup campaigns after following Paul Wotton to Plainmoor from Truro City.
“I’m obviously very pleased to get the deal done.” said manager, Paul Wotton. “It’s his seventh season with me now, so I know him inside out and trust him.
“I thought he finished the season really, really strongly. Hopefully he carries that into the new season.”
The 29-year-old kept 17 clean sheets last season and rejoins an evolving squad looking to go one better in 2025-26.
