Dan Hayfield Signs New Contract With TUFC

Torquay United is pleased to announce that midfielder Dan Hayfield has signed a new two-year contract to extend his stay until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Hayfield, 28, was an influential presence in the heart of United’s midfield in his debut season with The Gulls. In total he made 49 appearances scoring 4 goals.

While Hayfield still had a year left on his old deal, manager Paul Wotton is delighted that he has extended his stay with TUFC.

“It’s good news and good business by the Club,” said manager Paul Wotton.

“I think it is important that we are tying down players on contracts that are a little bit longer. I thought he had some really good moments last year.

“He’s a great character, a great trainer – a good person. All of the DNA we are looking for in a Torquay United football player.”
