Torquay United Strengthens Partnership with Brixham Trawler Agents for 2026/27 Season

Torquay United Football Club is delighted to announce that Brixham Trawler Agents, operators of Brixham Fish Market, will continue its partnership with the Club for the 2026/27 season, with the business increasing its support to become the official Back of Shorts Sponsor for both the Men’s and Youth teams.

The partnership represents a significant step forward in the relationship between two organisations with strong roots in the local community.

Brixham Trawler Agents has been a growing supporter of Torquay United in recent seasons, with Managing Director Barry Young a keen supporter of the Club. Barry and the business have previously supported the Gulls through Matchday Sponsorships and pitch-side advertising, and their increased commitment for the 2026/27 season further demonstrates their belief in the Club and its future.

As part of the expanded partnership, Brixham Trawler Agents branding will feature prominently on the back of the shorts worn by both the Torquay United Men’s First Team and Youth teams throughout the 2026/27 campaign.

Brixham Trawler Agents manages and operates the Fish Market, one of the key commercial and community assets within Torbay. The business plays an important role in supporting the local fishing industry and the wider Brixham economy.

Barry Young, Managing Director of Brixham Trawler Agents, said:

“We’re extremely proud to be increasing our support of Torquay United for the 2026/27 season. Having supported the Club over the last few seasons through Matchday Sponsorships and advertising, it felt like the right time to take that next step.

“We’re particularly proud to be supporting not just the First Team, but also the Youth teams. The Club has such an important role to play within the local community, and supporting the next generation of players is something we’re really pleased to be involved with.

“As a business based at Brixham Fish Market, we’re proud of our local roots and are delighted to be working alongside another important part of the Torbay community.”

Luke Maker, Partnerships Manager at Torquay United, said:

“It’s fantastic to be able to continue and build on our relationship with Brixham Trawler Agents. They have been great supporters of the Club over the last few seasons, and it’s brilliant to see that support grow to such a significant partnership.

“Brixham Fish Market is a huge asset to Torbay and plays such an important role in the local economy, so to be partnering with a business that is so closely connected to the community is something we’re really proud of.

“I’d like to thank Barry and the team for their continued support and, in particular, for their commitment to both our First Team and Youth teams. Partnerships like this demonstrate what can be achieved when local businesses and the football club work together, and we’re looking forward to working closely with Brixham Trawler Agents throughout the 2026/27 season.”
