Devon neighbours heading to Plainmoor
Torquay United have announced the latest addition to their 2026/27 warm-up campaign, with Plymouth Argyle making their latest visit to the English Riviera on Tuesday, 21st July (KO TBC)
The pre-season test against Tom Cleverley’s League One side comes in the middle of a week of home friendlies for Jimmy Ball’s side, with two more fixtures set to be confirmed on Saturday 25th July and Friday 31st July.

- Saturday, July 4 – Buckland Athletic (A), 2pm
- Wednesday, July 8 – Cullompton Rangers (A), 7pm
- Saturday, July 11 – Brixham AFC (A), 3pm
- Tuesday, July 14 – Plymouth Parkway (A), 7.30pm
- Saturday, July 18 – TBC (A)
- Tuesday, July 21 – Plymouth Argyle (H), KO TBC

The Gulls will begin preparations on Saturday, July 4 with a trip to Buckland Athletic for a 2pm kick-off, before travelling to Cullompton Rangers on Wednesday, July 8 at 7pm.
A visit to Brixham AFC follows on Saturday, July 11 at 3pm, before United make the short trip to Plymouth Parkway on Tuesday, July 14 with a 7.30pm kick-off.
