City Heading To Plainmoor

Exeter added to pre-season schedule

United’s Devon neighbours Exeter City are the latest opponents added to The Gulls’ 2026/27 warm-up campaign, with The Grecians heading to Plainmoor on Friday, 31st July (7.30pm KO).

The home fixture against Matt Taylor’s League Two side is sure to be an intriguing way to round off preparations for Jimmy Ball’s side, who will kick-off their National League South season the following weekend.

Torquay’s pre-season plan for a busy July begins with a trip to Buckland Athletic on Saturday, July 4th (2pm KO), before Ball’s men head to Cullompton Rangers on Wednesday, July 8th (7pm).

A visit to Brixham AFC is next up on Saturday, July 11th at 3pm, followed up to a trip to Plymouth Parkway on Tuesday, July 14th (7.30pm). One more away fixture (TBC) is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 18th, before United return home to host three Plainmoor friendlies.

Plymouth Argyle will visit the English Riviera on Tuesday, July 21st (KO TBC) prior to another home fixture on Saturday, July 25th (TBC), before the practice games are wrapped up against Exeter on Friday, July 31st (7.30pm).
