Centre-forward strengthens United’s attacking options
Torquay United is delighted to announce the signing of experienced centre-forward Offrande Zanzala.
Congo-born six-footer Zanzala arrives at Plainmoor following his departure from National League side AFC Fylde, for whom he made twelve appearances after joining the club in the summer.
28 year-old Offrande boasts a wealth of EFL experience, having began his career in the youth ranks at Derby County, before going on to represent the likes of Accrington, Carlisle, Barrow and Newport amongst others, with a loan spell at Exeter City also helping United’s Devon rivals clinch promotion to League One in 2021/22.
Zanzala’s addition to Paul Wotton’s squad gives The Gulls another exciting attacking option, with the frontman available in time for Tuesday night’s away match at Weston-super-Mare.
