With our Retro Gulls continuing to prove popular throughout 2022/23, we take a look back at some of the memorable moments from this season’s events.
Our monthly Retro Gulls sessions are held in Boots & Laces and sees United supporters aged 50 and over come together for an afternoon full of activity, including current and ex-players question and answers sessions, quizzes, as well as guest speakers from the community.
With eight events having taken place across the season, there have been many memorable moments, including a surprise visit from United Manager Gary Johnson and Assistant Manager Aaron Downes where the Club’s management team took part in a question and answers session.
Supporters can look back on our 2022/23 Retro Gulls events in pictures, in the gallery below.
Throughout the 2022/23 season, the events have continued to go from strength-to-strength, with the sessions giving supporters the opportunity to communicate with club representatives. The Club would like to place on record its thanks to supporters who have attended sessions throughout the season, with dates of Retro Gulls events for the upcoming season set to be announced in due course.
The Club would also like to thank all of the guest speakers who have attended events: We Are Family Foster Care torbay.gov.uk, Community Walking Football, Guide Dogs, MMH, Preston and Paignton Community Defibrillator Project, Operation Imprezza and Build Torbay.
