Despite having already reached their amazing target of £1000 for Prostate Cancer UK, United’s ‘Super 6’ remain fully committed to the cause, as they spend the last few days in November trying to raise even more vital funds as part of the Prostate United challenge.
Torquay United AFC Head of Medical Kai Hepworth formed an admirable team to take on this year’s challenge, with Kenny Griffiths, Russell Cleave, Louie Birkenshaw, Andy Roberts and Ryan Scholes all signing up for the challenge to run 5km or cycle 15km every day throughout the month of November to aid this very worthy cause.
Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition – to stop prostate cancer damaging the lives of men and their families, with the disease being the most common cancer in men. Statistics show that 1 in all 8 men are diagnosed in their lifetime, or even more alarmingly, 1 in 4 black men.
Anyone wanting to donate in support of their efforts can continue to do so by donating via the group’s JustGiving page here.

Well done, lads… Nearly there now!
