Since being established in March 2020, Torbay Weekly has become a familiar name to the Yellow Army, with the newspaper being the go-to for many wanting to keep up to date with the latest news and opinions in the Bay.
The local newspaper is also a prominent sponsor at Plainmoor, with their link-up seeing the Family Stand branded with their logo. Torbay Weekly is a fresh, vibrant newspaper that focuses on everything positive in the local area. They have also sponsored the Club’s annual Player and Young Player of the Season Award for the last three years.
Torbay Weekly adopted the slogan ‘Naturally Inspiring’ and aims to act as a voice for the Torbay community, with their objective being to inform and inspire, and similarly to TUAFC, is striding to be at the heart of the local community.
The publication boasts a team of journalists with a wealth of experience – editor Jim Parker is a well-known journalist across South Devon and has been for 40 years, whilst sports reporter Dave Thomas has covered Torquay United since the 1970s.
