With the opening month of the season now over, it’s time for the Yellow Army to cast their vote for TUAFC’s Player of the Month for August.
The month of August has seen Gary Johnson’s men play six games, and although not all results have gone their way, there are still no shortage of candidates to win the inaugural award of 2022/23.
After beginning the campaign with back-to-back clean sheets in the draw at home to much-fancied Oldham Athletic and the away win at FC Halifax Town, perhaps a member of United’s backline is your pick? With a number of players beginning their first campaigns in a yellow shirt, has one of this summer’s new additions caught your eye? Or, after registering their first goals for The Gulls, will Brett McGavin or Ross Marshall get your vote?
