Following the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Torquay United AFC would like to provide supporters with an update.

With last Saturday’s home fixture against Aldershot postponed as a mark of respect, the Club also imposed a blackout across all our media channels over the past weekend, in order to further reflect the sombre mood of our nation at this time.

The National League is now looking at providing all of its Clubs with a revised date for all matches originally due to take place on Saturday 10th September, and once this has been confirmed, we will update supporters accordingly.

Regardless of the new date, we can confirm that all tickets previously purchased for the original fixture will be valid for the new date, and therefore no action will be required for supporters if they wish to retain their ticket for this match.

Once the re-arranged date for the Aldershot fixture has been confirmed, any supporters unable to attend this match can claim a refund, either by emailing [email protected] or by phoning 01803 328666 (Mon-Fri 10am-2pm excluding Bank Holidays). Please Note that all requests must be submitted no later than 48 hours prior to the rescheduled date.

v Solihull Moors 13/09/22 7.45pm KO

Having received confirmation from the National League that Tuesday’s scheduled fixtures will be going ahead as planned, we are now looking forward to welcoming the Yellow Army back to Plainmoor for our home match against Solihull Moors tomorrow.

Before the match, we will be observing a one-minute silence as a mark of respect, and we, therefore, ask all supporters to arrive at the stadium in plenty of time, so that the whole Club – players, management, staff and supporters – can pay their own tributes to Her Majesty together prior to kick-off.
