With TUAFC showing its support for Shelter’s #NoHomeKit campaign on Boxing Day, supporters got their chance to see United’s third kit up close for the first time at Plainmoor.
Just as the Club had done twelve months ago, The Gulls once again chose to ‘ditch their home shirt’ against Yeovil Town in order to raise awareness of the fight to end homelessness and the housing emergency. Homelessness, and the housing crisis in general, is reaching a critical point with 180,000 households having been made homeless since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.
It wasn’t just Gary Johnson’s set of players that sported their new attire for the festive fixture however, with a number of fans inside Plainmoor choosing the occasion to sport their new shirts, with Father Christmas no doubt delivering quite a few of United’s new ‘Beetroot Purple’ shirts into supporters’ stockings ahead of Christmas morning.
With this season seeing Torquay United AFC teaming up with sportswear giants Puma for the first time, the latest addition to our stunning replica kit roster seeing our collaboration with official kit partners, Pro:Direct scale new heights.
As with all of TUAFC’s 2022/23 matchday kits, this iconic kit includes a number of subtle touches that enforces pride in the Club’s long heritage, with the now-famous 1899 insignia paying tribute to year of the Club’s formation across the centre of the shirt, whilst United’s updated Club Crest proudly adorns a place directly opposite the well-renowned Puma crest.
Don’t forget, there’s excellent news for our 2022/23 Season Ticket holders, who can save 10% on all kit purchases made, as just one of the additional benefits included within our 2022/23 packages. To obtain this discount, simply login to your Season Ticket account when purchasing online.
Our new 2022/23 Puma Third Kit can also be purchased online now via the TUAFC Club Shop HERE, or alternatively in person during usual Club Shop opening hours. Our festive opening hours can be viewed HERE.
