Boots & Laces continues to show all of the best football action, with plenty of Premier League & Carabao Cup games to choose from.
Monday 30th January brings us the last of the FA Cup Fourth Round ties, as the team the Gulls lost to in the First Round, Derby County face struggling Premier League West Ham United, with the Rams looking to cause an upset, and that match is at 20:00.
If you can’t make it up to Woking to see Gary Johnson’s men in action, then Tuesday 31st January brings us the Carabao Cup Semi Final Second Leg, as Newcastle United seek to book their place in the Final at Wembley, against Southampton whom they beat 1-0 in the First Leg at St Mary’s last week though the game is finely poised and gets underway at 20:00. That is followed on Wednesday 1st February by the second Carabao Cup Semi-Final Second Leg game, as Manchester United look to book their place in the Final when they face Nottingham Forest at 20:00, with the Red Devils already 3-0 up from the First Leg last week at the City Ground.
Friday 3rd February brings us the first Premier League action of the weekend, with a West London derby from Stamford Bridge as Chelsea look to gain revenge for their recent 2-1 defeat to Fulham a few weeks ago at Craven Cottage, with that game have a 20:00 KO.
Saturday 4th February sees Gary Johnson’s men back at Plainmoor where they face high flying Notts County in the National League (3pm KO), so start your day early at Boots & Laces with the 12:30 Premier League game as Everton look to get their first win under new boss Sean Dyche, when they face league leaders Arsenal at Goodison Park. Then after the action has finished out on the Plainmoor pitch there is the 17:30 game from the Premier League, as Newcastle United look to get maximum points to maintain their Champions League push, against West Ham United who themselves need the points to push up the table away from the relegation places.
On Sunday 5th February, there are two more Premier League games starting at 14:00 with a trip to the City Ground as Nottingham Forest host Leeds United with the Yorkshire club currently three points behind the home side before the game. the final action at 16:30 takes us to North London where Tottenham Hotspur will be looking for full points to help their bid for Champions League football next season, when they face Pep Guardiola’s title chasing Manchester City side, with Kane & Harland looking to get amongst the goals for their sides.
