The Yellow Army have their final chance today to cast their vote for United’s Player of the Month for August.
With August seeing the start of the season, Gary Johnson’s side have played six games that have included four wins on the bounce and amassed 13 points, meaning there’s no shortage of candidates to win this season’s first Player Of The Month award.
It has been a solid opening month for Mark Halstead between the posts for United, with a number of key saves in the six matches played meaning that United have again been well protected at the back. Tenacious midfielder Tom Lapslie has once again provided that solid cover in the centre, while at the top of the pitch both Aaron Jarvis & Brad Ash have opened their United accounts for this season, and currently have two apiece as we end the month.
At the back Ollie Tomlinson has been an ever present starter and even bagged his first goal for the Club, that being the winner in a 1-0 win at St Albans City, while central defensive partner Ross Marshall has come back into the side with solid performances, and has also found himself on the scoresheet, scoring the equaliser in United’s 2-1 win over Chippenham Town here at Plainmoor.
Whoever is your choice, it’s time to have your say!
Votes can be cast now by selecting one player from the choices below, with the vote closing at 3pm on Monday (4th September)
