Paul Trollope is set to become the latest former United favourite to make a return to Plainmoor this weekend, as he makes a guest appearance in the commentary box for TUFC Radio.
Trollope, who made over 100 appearances for the Club between 1992-1995, remains a popular figure with the Yellow Army, and will be on hand to help describe the action from behind the mic this Saturday, as Gary Johnson’s men take on Stockport County.
Trollope follows in the footsteps of former Gull Guy Branston, who took on the same role at our opening Community Day against King’s Lynn, and with popular ex-Gulls ‘keeper John Turner combining his role as the Club’s Matchday Bars Manager with attending various other events at Plainmoor, Torquay United AFC is delighted that our current and past heroes are keen to remain an important part of the Torquay United family.
