United striker Corie Andrews has departed the Club to link up with fellow National League side Wealdstone.

Having joined Gary Johnson’s squad last summer, the Lambeth-born frontman went on to make 14 appearances in all competitions for The Gulls, having represented the likes of AFC Wimbledon and Colchester prior to arriving at Plainmoor.

“Corie Andrews has made a decision to go to Wealdstone, and we understand his decision,” confirmed the Gaffer.

“At this moment in time, we couldn’t promise him games in the starting eleven, and also it’s very difficult when he’s been injured for quite some time. He’s fit now, but he’s been injured up until now, and he wanted to be nearer to his family in London.

“So we agreed for him to go, and wish him all the best for the future.”
