UNITED have signed experienced winger Jennison Myrie-Williams in a non-contract deal, which has gone through in time for him to be eligible at Barrow tomorrow afternoon.
Myrie-Williams is the second new recruit in a busy first couple of days in charge for new Head Coach Gary Owers, who has also added Callum Evans on loan from Forest Green Rovers.
Myrie-Williams left Newport in the summer but lists a number of Football League clubs in an impressive CV. His career began with Bristol City and a sequence of loan stints preceded a move to Dundee United and St Johnstone in Scotland.
He returned to English football with Stevenage in 2011 and then spent two seasons at Port Vale before moving to Scunthorpe, Sligo Rovers in Ireland and then Newport.
A former England youth international, Myrie-Williams will wear the number 27 shirt for United.
