Torquay United AFC is delighted to announce the loan signing of Ipswich Town forward Osman Foyo.

Foyo, 19, began his career as a youngster at Premier League giants Chelsea prior to switching to Norwich City, before a loan spell at East Anglian rivals Ipswich paved the way for a permanent move to Portman Road earlier this year.

Having been in excellent scoring form for Ipswich’s Under-21 side recently, and capable of playing in a number of positions, United manager Gary Johnson is understandably pleased to secure the loan signing of Osman, ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Chelmsford.

“We welcome Osman – or ‘Ossie’ as we’re calling him at the moment – to our Club. He comes well-recommended by Ipswich Town,” said The Gulls’ boss.

“We’ve confirmed that we think what Ipswich think, and we feel that he can play a big part in our quest for promotion.

“Ossie can play in two or three positions, either as a midfield player or a striker, so we look forward to the Yellow Army seeing him.”

Foyo will wear the No.32 shirt during his time with the Club.

Welcome to Plainmoor, Osman!
