Torquay United AFC is delighted to announce that Fleetwood Town midfielder Callum Dolan has joined the Club on loan.

Having spent seven years as a youngster at Manchester United’s renowned academy, Callum moved onto a senior career that took in spells with the likes of Altrincham, Oldham, Radcliffe and Warrington Rylands amongst others, and it was his hugely successful stint with the latter Club that enticed League One Fleetwood into paying the Northern Premier League outfit a record fee for the player.

Having tracked 23-year old Dolan’s progress for some time, Gulls boss Gary Johnson is delighted to have secured his services in time for the trip to Hampton & Richmond tomorrow.

“Over the last few weeks, we’ve had a ‘hit list’ of players that we’re following, and Callum is one of those,” confirmed Johnson.

“I’m pleased to say that Callum has agreed to join us from Fleetwood. Hes’s an aggressive, attacking midfielder but can also play in other positions. He’s had a few first-team games at Fleetwood, and the Club rate him very highly.

“So, we welcome him, and he goes straight into the squad for Saturday.”
