After securing the accolade the previous month, it’s a double for Brett McGavin, who has won our October Goal Of The Month award.

In a similar fashion to our September vote, the Yellow Army were unanimous in their choice for our October Goal of the Month award, with McGavin’s strike against Welling United topping the chart.

After a long throw by Dean Moxey could only be half-cleared, McGavin was lingering outside the box before taking one touch to control the ball and subsequently firing into the back of the net.

The United midfielder was delighted to receive recognition, with his second strike of the season seeing the 23-year-old earn a second Goal of the Month accolade.

“I’m really happy to win Goal of the Month again and obviously grateful for all the fans who voted for me,” began Brett.

“Hopefully I can continue to score goals and help the team to keep winning games.”
