United goalkeeper Marcin Brzozowski has joined Gloucester City on an emergency loan deal.

Having arrived at Plainmoor in the summer following a brief spell with the Club last term, the former QPR stopper has made one substitute appearance this season, with the opportunity to join City – managed by former Gull, Lee Mansell – seen by United boss Gary Johnson as an ideal chance for Marcin to gain valuable minutes at first-team level.

“We’ve allowed Marcin to go out on an emergency loan, for one game,” confirmed the Gaffer.

“It’s because a) it’s for him to get a game, b) it’s a very good game, and c) Gloucester City didn’t have a goalkeeper. It suited them, it suited us, and it suited Marcin. It’s a good game for him to be involved in at Wrexham, and we wish him luck.”

This move is subject to FA confirmation.
