Following another amazing response from the Yellow Army, the Club would like to remind supporters that tickets for our latest raffle are available until 4pm today.

TUAFC’s first charity shirt raffle of 2022 is in support of United fan Nick Sharpe in his 365 Sea Swim Challenge, with all monies raised going to four local causes.

Shoalstone Pool, the Seal Project, Torbay Hospital’s Louisa Carey Ward and Torbay RNLI will be the beneficiaries of Nick’s fundraising. Now in his final month of the challenge and with over £2,500 raised, TUAFC would like to help Nick reach his £3,000 target with the January Charity Raffle aiming to help him reach his goal, and will see the lucky winner receive a signed 2021/22 home shirt.

The 365 Sea Swim 52 Week Challenge has seen Nick brave the cold waves at least twice a week for an entire year in a bid to raise money for the 365 Sea Swim Legacy Fund, as well as his chosen local causes. For further information about the 365 Sea Swim Challenge, you can visit their website HERE.

Speaking of the challenge and his fundraising drive, Nick said:

“I’m 11 months into a 12 month sea swim challenge as part of the 365 Sea Swim Challenge. 20% of my money raised goes to the upkeep of Shoalstone Seawater Pool in Brixham and the Seal Project which helps to conserve the local seal population.

“The remainder of my funds will go to my chosen charities of the Louisa Carey Ward at Torbay Hospital, and Torbay RNLI. I’m hoping to have one last push to raise as much money as I can for these fantastic causes and so far have raised £2.5k and I am extremely appreciative and grateful for every penny people have donated.”

With four amazing local causes benefitting from Nick’s fundraising efforts, and his GoFundMe Page being less than £500 away from his target of £3,000, it would be great if the Yellow Army can show their support by buying a raffle ticket in a bid to help Nick surpass his goal during the final month of his gruelling challenge!

Tickets are priced at £2 each and are available to purchase online HERE, with the raffle closing at 4pm on Friday 21st January.

Please note that the raffle is done electronically, so no physical raffle ticket will be issued, you will receive an electronic receipt which will be your proof of purchase.
