The Club would like to reaffirm its stance regarding supporters entering the field of play and the use of pyrotechnic devices.
With a lot of excitement generated by the trophy presentation following the match against Hungerford on Monday, fans are reminded to keep their celebrations to the stands. Encroachment onto the field of play during or after matches is a criminal offence and will not be tolerated home or away.
It is our intention that the trophy presentation will take place as soon after the final whistle as possible.
The Club is currently investigating events that occurred at our away match against Chippenham on Good Friday. Banning orders will be issued to those identified as bringing the name of the club into disrepute.
Torquay United supports the National League’s “Smoke – No Joke” campaign which highlights that pyrotechnic devices are banned from football grounds. It is a criminal offence to enter a football ground with a pyrotechnic device such as a flare or smoke bomb.
Further reminders will be made at Plainmoor before kick-off.
Those caught entering the field of play or possessing a pyrotechnic device can expect to receive a banning order.
