Surgery Comedy gigs are fast becoming must-see events at Plainmoor. This time TV stand-up comedian Lloyd Griffith (of Soccer AM fame) is headlining with support from some of the best talent in the industry…

For this Surgery Comedy event we will be donating our share of the ticket money to Ryan Higgins, as well as holding a collection at our National League match against Halifax Town.

Lloyd Griffith is a comedian, a choirboy and an aspiring goalkeeper. He’s the co-host of Soccer AM on Sky Sports every Saturday and is also the face of BBC3’s Taxi to Training (have a watch) You may have also seen Lloyd in Bounty Hunters (Sky), Drunk History (Comedy Central), Football’s Funniest Moments (Sky), In Off The Bar (Sky Sports), Rugby’s Funniest Moments (Sky), The Premier League Show (BBC2) and Sweat The Small Stuff (BBC3). He’s just completed supporting Jack Whitehall and Rob Beckett on their respective sold out UK tours including dates at Liverpool Echo, Newcastle Metro, Manchester, Leeds and Wembley Arenas and Hammersmith Apollo. Lloyd has just extended his first UK tour into 2018 and the success of the tour in 2017 and tickets can be bought below…

Tamar Broadbent is a comedian, writer, singer, actor and award-winning songwriter, who studied English at Bristol University and went on to train at the Central School of Speech and Drama.

Tamar was a finalist in the 2015 Amused Moose Laugh Off and Funny Women Awards, and appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Fresh From the Fringe 2014. She performs regularly on the UK comedy circuit, and her recent gigs include: Glee, Screaming Blue Murder, Off the Rails, Comedy Cow and CKP Boat Show.

You’ll know MC Noel Brodie from his role as pitchside MC at Plainmoor on match days. Noel is one of the busiest and most popular comics on the circuit who is in high demand in the UK and overseas.

The bill will also feature two more comedians TBC.
