Following the release of the 2023/24 National League South fixtures, Gary Johnson gave his thoughts on the upcoming season.
“It’s exciting whatever league you are in when you see the fixtures if you know what I mean, and obviously Truro have become our Christmas team so that’s always good.
“You look for certain clubs, you look for the first game and you look for the last game, and we are looking forward to going to Dover as at least you have got something to focus on if you like, a team to focus on and that’s always a good thing.
“So we will worry about the first group of games, and then worry about the others later, but we are looking forward to it now we know the first few games.
“We are looking at the derbies as well, as we have got a few of them and that’s always exciting, but we need a quick start, every team needs a good start and that’s what we are training for at the moment.”
