Today’s Visitors To Plainmoor – Sherborne Town Ladies

Sherborne Town Ladies Football Club is an FA Charter Standard club which was formed in 2018 with the intention of providing footballing opportunities for women and girls in Dorset and Somerset. With the Club finding that there was very little choice available locally and that players were having to travel long distances to be able to play, the Board members unanimously agreed that the Club should exist to provide safe, fun and affordable football for women and girls from all backgrounds.

In 2019 the Board approved the formation of a youth system, and with the help of their fantastic coaching staff, the team was a great success. Since then STLFC have expanded this youth system to include two further teams, and once again they were quickly filled, showing the great demand for affordable girls football in Dorset. 2022 saw the formation of a Sherborne Town Ladies Senior Development Team, who have been competing well in the Dorset Women’s League this season.

The current first team is captained by Kelly Snook and had a flying start to the South West Women’s League Premier Division season, going unbeaten for their first seven league games. The primary goal threat is posed by top scorer Becky Narramore, who so far has ten goals to her name,

Sherborne Town squad: Rachel Adkin, Jamie Bland, Emma Brazell, Orla East, Hannah Eglon, Sophie Garcia, Emily Hall, Elisha Jacks, Sarah Lewendon, Charlotte Lilley, Eloise Morris, Becky Narramore,  Amelia O’Connell, Shelby Overington, Chloe Perham, Rachel Simkin, Lucy Slater, Faith Small, Kelly Snook, Chloe Stokes, Jemma Tewkesbury, Olivia Watts
