Record sales of United shirts, with more stock on the way
The launch of United’s retro-inspired 2024/25 home shirt has certainly captured the imagination of the Yellow Army, with Torquay United’s new Official Store being inundated by orders following its launch on Wednesday.
Following hot in the heels from Torquay’s fan-voted away shirt, The Gulls’ home offering has seen the Club rack up sales of over 1,200 home and away shirts already, with Gulls fans quick to give both shirts their seal of approval.
This astonishing response is further evidence of the passionate and devoted support of our loyal fanbase, and we’d like to thank everyone that has added a new Gulls shirt to their shopping list this summer!
The demand for United’s new look has obviously had an impact on stock levels, with some sizes now sold out.
The good news, however, is that our official kit suppliers VX3 are already on the case, with new stock of Men’s, Women’s, and Youth sizes of both home and away shirts due to be available again as early as next week, with pre-orders now available online.

Taking its inspiration from the hugely-popular hoops The Gulls last sported between 1993-1995, Torquay United’s new home kit is sure to draw admiring glances from both fans old and young.
During the mid-1990s, favourites such as Darren Moore, Kevin Hodges, Paul Trollope, Adrian Foster and Gregory Goodridge were just some of the players that wore this unique shirt with distinction, and now, 30 years later, a whole new band of United stars will be hoping to create more memories for a new generation of the Yellow Army.
