The winners of tomorrow’s Isuzu FA Trophy game between United and Taunton Town have been awarded a home tie against Barnet in Round 5.
Monday’s draw determined that should Torquay United emerge victorious against National League South side Taunton Town on Tuesday, they will be up against Barnet at Plainmoor in the next round, as the teams left to battle it out for a place at Wembley in May are whittled down to 16.
FA Trophy Fifth Round matches are due to be played on Saturday 11th February.
United manager Gary Johnson reacted to the draw and another potential home tie.
“It’s a tough draw of course with Barnet being the highest placed team still in the Trophy, but we won’t disrespect Taunton Town and count our chickens, however it is an important trophy for our Club and we would like to go as far as we can in it, as we have said previously.”
