Torquay United AFC is delighted to announce the signing of Joe Felix from Billericay Town.
22 year-old Joe began his career as a youngster at Fulham before subsequently signing for Queens Park Rangers, where his continued progression for the Club’s U23-side saw him called up to the bench for Rangers’ EFL Cup tie against Bristol Rovers in 2018/19.
Felix then went on to represent the likes of Woking and Maidstone, before making the move to Billericay in September 2020.
A versatile player who can operate in a number of positions in both defence and midfield, his addition to the United squad is another welcome boost for Gulls boss Gary Johnson.
“We’ve brought in a midfielder from Billericay, Joe Felix,” confirmed the Gaffer.
“He’s spent time at Fulham and QPR, he’s a little ‘un, however he’s a little ‘un with a big heart, and power & pace. He can play in the centre of midfield, or wide midfield.
“We’re grateful to Billericay, who obviously didn’t want to lose him, but the lad was waiting for a club to give him full-time football and move his career up the ladder again.”
