Fresh from Tuesday night’s win over Maidenhead, manager Gary Johnson offered his thoughts on United’s upcoming Buildbase FA Trophy third round tie where United will play either Aveley or Chesham United.
The match will take place on the weekend of December 19th.
“It’s a break from our league campaign,” said Gary.
“I’ve won the Trophy previously, so it is always a good competition when it gets to the later stages. As long as crowds can come back by the time the final comes around then that’s a fantastic day for any club.
“We have a couple of league games that are very important to us before that date, but rest assured, whichever team Aveley or Chesham gets through, we’ll know all about them – and we’ll certainly respect them.”
