Torquay United manager Gary Johnson gave his response to Monday’s Buildbase FA Trophy draw, which saw his side given an away tie at Tonbridge Angels.
Tonbridge, who currently reside in 18th place in National League South, will be looking to make the most of home advantage, having progressed through to this stage by beating Canvey Island 1-0 away on Saturday.
“You always take whatever comes, obviously,” began Johnson.
“I don’t think our Club has ever played them previously, so that’ll be a first. We’ve got some games in the National League to worry about first, and then we’ll be concentrating on the Trophy game.”
The tie is due to take place on the weekend of Saturday, December 18th 2021.
Further details will be announced in due course.
