TUAFC is delighted to announce that our forthcoming televised home match against Altrincham will see local grassroots teams invited to Plainmoor as guests for our latest Community Day.

Local sports teams and clubs are invited to claim free tickets for United’s upcoming home game against Altrincham on Saturday, 22nd October 18th (5.20pm) as TUAFC once again plays host to another Community Day at Plainmoor, following four hugely successful events last season.

TUAFC prides itself on being a family friendly, all-inclusive club, and having invited a number of local worthy causes to join us for free live football in 2021/22, we are now looking forward to welcoming Torbay’s sporting community to Plainmoor next month.

With the BT Sport cameras also in attendance to screen the match live, this is a superb opportunity for the local community to join together once more, and show a national television audience what Torbay is all about!

With our previous Community Days seeing United join forces with the likes of Sport Torbay, Torbay Weekly, Torbay Council, NHS and Care staff and Her Game Too, now it’s the turn of our local grassroots sporting clubs to join in the fun, and take in some National League action, as Gary Johnson’s side look to claim three points at the expense of an Altrincham side who shared six points with The Gulls last term.

Torquay United’s Community Day initiatives help to emphasise the importance the Club places on being at the very heart of the local community. As the only professional sporting Club in Torbay, the Club is delighted to use both its heritage and profile to help support and promote local worthy causes. TUAFC has a bold vision for not only the Football Club itself, but also the local area, and will continue striving to be a strong and prominent component of a thriving and prosperous future for the local area.

We look forward to seeing you all at Plainmoor on October 22nd!
