United’s U18s continued their excellent campaign on Saturday as they secured victory at Fairford Town.

Having won the Gary Else Memorial trophy for the past two seasons, Kevin Wills’ side sent out an ominous warning to any side looking to dethrone the holders, as they inflicted a heavy home defeat on their opponents.

The result was never really in doubt, with goals from Jacob Wellington, Andrew Ellis, Will Brennan and Ethan O’Sullivan sealing a comfortable win for the Young Gulls, with their manager wholesome in praise for the team.

“It was a good solid performance away from home,” said Wills.

“It was great to have Mason, Will and Ethan back in the squad.”

Torquay return to South West Counties Youth League action on Saturday morning at South Devon College, with United looking forward to a mouthwatering local derby against Yeovil Town.
