Boots & Laces has all the live action for you this coming week, including European & Premier League action.
Monday 10th October starts the week in the Premier League as bottom of the table Nottingham Forest look for all three points in their match against Aston Villa, and that game kicks off at 20:00. Tuesday 11th October sees the Game four of the Champions League Group stages, as firstly at 17:45 FC Copenhagen take on Manchester City looking to avenge last week’s defeat in Manchester, before at 20:00 AC Milan face Chelsea at the San Siro looking to put last week’s defeat at Stamford Bridge behind them.
Wednesday 12th October brings us another Champions League Group game starting at 20:00 we head to Ibrox where Rangers will face Liverpool in the second game between the two clubs following last weeks game at Anfield which ended with a Reds victory. Wednesday also sees the Summon Bonum Support & Care Disco Night take place in Boots & Laces between 7pm-10pm, with entry only £3. A well-established and popular community initiative, this weekly event for those with support and care needs also includes a disco, karaoke and a prize raffle, ensuring an enjoyable night for all those in attendance!
Thursday 13th October takes us to the Europa League with another two Group games starting at 17:45, as Arsenal head to Norway and a game against Bodo/Glimt, looking to follow up last weeks 3-0 victory against them, and then at 20:00 Manchester United will look to continue their recent good run in the Europa League, when they take on Omonia Nicosia whom they beat 3-2 in Cyprus last week.
Friday 14th October will see Premier League action as Brentford look to bounce back from their heavy defeat to Newcastle, by taking on Brighton who have been in good recent form, though did suffer a defeat to Tottenham in their last game. Kick off is at 20:00.
With Gary Johnson’s side in FA Cup action against Hampton & Richmond here at Plainmoor on Saturday 15th October (3pm KO), then why not get to Boots & Laces early for Premier League action, starting at 12:30 with Leicester City looking to climb out of the relegation zone as they take on Crystal Palace, before at 17:30 after the action has finished out on the Plainmoor turf, it’s Tottenham Hotspur who will be looking to continue their good start to the season, as they face Everton. There is also Championship action at 19:45 as two of last seasons relegated sides meet at Vicarage Road where Watford face Norwich City.
Sunday 16th October brings two Premier League games starting at 14:00 from Villa Park as Aston Villa take on Chelsea, before at 16:30 as we head to Anfield, as a stuttering Liverpool side will be looking to get their season back on track, against Manchester City who seem unstoppable at the moment, but will face a stern test against their rivals.
