Boots & Laces has all the live action for you this coming week, including the Nations League as the group stages reach their conclusion.
Tonight -Wednesday 21st September- brings us the Nations League game starting at 19:45 as Scotland welcome Ukraine to Hampden Park, knowing three victories from their last three games will see them promoted to Group A for the next Nations League competition. Wednesday also sees the Summon Bonum Support & Care Disco Night take place in Boots & Laces between 7pm-10pm, with entry only £3. A well-established and popular community initiative, this weekly event for those with support and care needs also includes a disco, karaoke and a prize raffle, ensuring an enjoyable night for all those in attendance!
Thursday 22nd September sees more Nations League action back action at 19:45, as Wales head to Belgium knowing only a victory can prolong their slim hopes of avoiding relegation from Group A4. Friday 23rd September will see England also trying to avoid relegation as they take on Italy from the San Siro in Milan, knowing only a win can realistically save them from being relegated to Group B with having such an inferior goal difference. Kick off is at 19:45.
With Gary Johnson’s men facing a trip to Wrexham on Saturday 24th September (3pm KO) and if you can’t make the trip, then at Boots & Laces we have Women’s Super League and Nations League action, starting at 13:30 with Arsenal Women taking on Tottenham Hotspur Women in the North London Derby, before at 19:45 Scotland face the Republic of Ireland from Hampden Park.
Sunday 25th September sees our Devon neighbours Plymouth Argyle take on Ipswich Town from Home Park in League One with that game at 12:30. Two Women’s Super League matches follow that starting at 16:00 with Chelsea Women looking to get their first win of the season as they take on Manchester City Women, before at 18:45 it’s the Merseyside Derby as Liverpool Women look to build on their opening day victory over Chelsea Women, by taking on local rivals Everton Women.
