Monday 9th January sees the final Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie at 20:00 as Oxford United look to cause an upset when they face Premier League leaders Arsenal, with the winners of the tie facing a trip to the Etihad to face Manchester City in the Fourth Round. Then on Tuesday 10th January it’s the start of the Quarter Finals of the Carabao Cup as two Premier League sides look for a place in the Semi Final as Newcastle United take on Leicester City with that game kicking off at 20:00.
Wednesday 11th January sees more Carabao Cup Quarter Final action as Southampton look to cause an upset when they take on Manchester City at 20:00. Thursday 12th January brings us Premier League action and a West London derby from Craven Cottage, as Fulham look to continue their good season by taking on neighbours Chelsea, who will be looking to steady their recent inconsistent form, with that match kicking off at 20:00, before on Friday 13th January it’s more Premier League action as Aston Villa host Leeds United with kick off at 20:00.
Saturday 14th January sees Gary Johnson’s men in Isuzu FA Trophy Fourth Round action here at Plainmoor against Taunton Town (3pm KO), so why not come to Boots & Laces before the match, as at 12:30 it’s the Manchester derby to start the day with Manchester United taking on Manchester City from Old Trafford with both teams looking for the points and the bragging rights. Then after the action has finished on the Plainmoor pitch, then at 17:30 it’s more Premier League action as Brentford take on AFC Bournemouth.
On Sunday 15th January, there are two more Premier League games starting at 14:00 when Newcastle United host Fulham with the London club looking to avenge their 4-1 defeat to the Magpies earlier in the season. The final action at 16:30 brings us a pulsating North London derby, as Tottenham Hotspur take on league leaders Arsenal, with the home side looking to put a spanner in the Gunners recent good form.
