Our matchday mascot package once again created memories to last a lifetime, as another group of youngsters got to lead the team out against Woking.

Ahead of our clash against Woking, the youngsters were led into the home dressing room to mingle with the United players at close quarters, before returning to their seats to watch Gary Johnson’s men make their final pre-match preparations, whilst recounting the magical moments to their family.

Once players left the pitch, they were swiftly followed by our youngsters, who accompanied by Torquay United Women’s manager & Mascot Coordinator, Steve Elswood, awaited the moment they had been waiting all afternoon for… walking out onto the hallowed Plainmoor pitch, side-by-side with their heroes!

As an added bonus, all the mascots took part in an impromptu half-time penalty shoot-out against TUWFC’s newest squad member Nashia Paz, with some superb strikes hitting the back of the net as the Yellow Army cheered them on!

Harry Palmer was one of the lucky mascots after winning the experience in our U12 season ticket holder draw, and was joined by his family for the game. Harry looked back on his day at Plainmoor proudly and said he enjoyed his day.

“It was very nice and i would like to do it again another time,” began Harry.

“I enjoyed seeing and meeting all the players before the game, and coming out onto the pitch with them.”
