TUAFC have added a fifth friendly to their pre-season schedule, with League 2 side Newport County visiting Plainmoor on Saturday 16th July (3pm KO).
The addition of a third EFL side to United’s warm up campaign is another boost for Gary Johnson’s men, ahead of what promises to be enthralling 2022/23 National League season.
After beginning their warm-up campaign by making a short trip to Homers Heath to take on Buckland Athletic on Friday 8th July, United will then face another local side – Kevin Hill’s Exmouth – the following Tuesday, 12th July.
With Plainmoor hosting Newport next, Torquay will then tackle League 1 neighbours Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday, July 19th, before The Gulls’ other Football League Devon rivals, Exeter City, follow on Saturday 23rd July.
Tickets prices for our home pre-season fixtures are as follows, and apply to all areas of the ground:

Concession (65+ / Student) – £8
U18 – £5
U7 (with paying adult) – FREE
Please note that there is a £2 surcharge for all tickets purchased on the day of the game.
Away fans for our match against Newport will be situated in Block A of Bristow’s Bench, with the Wollens Away Terrace closed, whilst both the Wollens Terrace & Bristow’s Bench Block A will be open to Plymouth & Exeter supporters for their respective encounters. Away supporters purchasing online are advised to select ‘Change to Away’ at the top of the Stadium Plan in order to view the available options.
As a special thank you to Season Ticket holders, those who have purchased a ticket for 2022/23 will be entitled to purchase one match ticket for each of these games with a 50% discount. Season Ticket holders have had their usual seats reserved for these fixtures.
All tickets can be purchased either online, over the phone on 01803 328666 between 10am-2pm Monday-Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), and also in person via the Club Shop between 10am-2pm Tuesday – Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
All matchday tickets will be fulfilled as e-tickets, with turnstiles at Plainmoor remaining cashless. E-tickets can either be printed off, or alternatively downloaded and stored onto your mobile device, ahead of being scanned at the turnstiles.
