The return of Liam Davis to the substitutes bench on Saturday was a welcome sight for everyone at the Club. United’s injury situation has eased over the last week, but five players remain out of contention for the first team.
Midfielders Yan Klukowski (planta fasciitis) & Damon Lathrope (groin) have returned to full training.
Goalkeeper Ryan Clarke (back) is back in light training but it is estimated that it will be a couple of weeks until he is ready to re-join full training.
Defender Jordan Lee was due to return to the squad in the 25th of September after returning to his parent club Bournemouth after he suffered chest pains in August. He is now going to be training with Bournemouth for another couple of weeks to run through further testing. This is purely as a precaution. His return to TUFC is now expected to take place on October 9th.
Midfielder Sam Chaney is still recovery from a groin strain and is estimated to return in early October.
Jon-Paul Pittman & George Dowling are returning from hamstring injuries and it is estimated that they will be returning to full training in early October.
