Torquay United Official Supporters’ Club chairman Bernard Noble has announced that he is stepping down from his role.
Noble helped to relaunch TUOSC in September 2016 and has been aided by fellow committee members.
TUOSC has done much to engage fans, especially our younger fans as part of the Junior Gulls initiative.
I will shortly be leaving Torbay and therefore it is with regret that I must soon resign as the Chairman of the TUOSC. On my departure, the Official Supporters’ Club will need a new Chair and other active Committee Members to ensure that the Club continues in the successful way it has done over the last eighteen months. We now have well over three hundred members, approximately split between adults and junior gulls. I personally believe that we have gone a long way to achieving our main objective of bringing the fans closer to the Football Club.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my short time working with the TUOSC and the Football Club and will be sad to leave but family must always come first. I want to see my grandchildren grow up and perhaps have some influence in their young lives.
We urgently need volunteers to keep the TUOSC in the public eye. Please do not let all the hard work go to waste, volunteer now to keep your Supporters’ Club going.
Please contact me personally by e mail [email protected] or telephone 01803 525481/07749408881 if you can spare some time to help with the future of the TUOSC.
Thank You
Bernard
The Club would like to thank Bernard for his efforts as chairman and wish him the best for the future.
