Trialists earn first win of pre-season campaign A Torquay United XI made up solely of trialists (apart from goalkeeper, Neal Osborn) won 3-2 against a competitive Newton Abbot Spurs. A goal from forward James Gray and a double from striking partner Mike Fondop earned United a win in the opening match of our pre-season campaign.
