United continue their pre-season preparations away to Tiverton Town on Tuesday night (7:45pm KO).

Tiverton Town announced an end of an era recently when Martyn Rogers stepped down from his role as joint manager.
Rogers is a legend at The Ian Moorcroft stadium, have managed the team for a combined 25 years. He guided Tivvy to three Wembley finals and two FA Vase wins. Rogers’ nephew Scott now takes on full managerial duties.
Martyn told Tiverton’s website: “Things have changed for me off the pitch in my personal life and it’s now time I devoted far more time to my wife and family. It goes without saying that I have loved every minute at the club since taking over as Manager thirty years ago. I think I’m leaving the club in a really healthy position on and off the pitch and wish Scott all the luck in the world, it’s his time to shine”
Tiverton chairman Ian Moorcroft was quick to praise his longstanding manager, affectionately known as ‘Dodge’:
“Although I was shocked when Dodge told me I fully understand his reasons, you have to put your family first,” said Ian. “I am 100% behind Scott and I am sure he will carry on the good work. I would like to thank Dodge for the legacy he has left us, virtually thirty years of success, three FA Vase Finals and the club playing at a decent level. We have a football club to be proud of with three new bars, it’s now a real asset to the town thanks to his drive and enthusiasm and it’s up to us to carry it on.”

Gary Warren
Defender Gary Warren has joined Tiverton this season after leaving United in the summer.
Warren joined United on loan in January 2020 from neighbours Exeter City before being recalled after four appearances.
He signed permanently for United for 2020/21 and played a role in United’s season reaching the play-off final, although injury stopped him showing his true value to the team.
Jared Lewington
Jared Lewington signed for United in November 2019 after a spell with Tivvy where he scored 12 goals in 19 appearances.
Lewington had impressed at Plainmoor after his two goals playing for Truro City in the 2018/19 season.
He re-joined Tiverton in June 2020 before signing for Taunton Town in May 2021.
