Manager Gary Johnson has backed Olaf Koszela to bounce back, after the young striker suffered an injury during his loan spell at Dorchester Town.

Having produced a number of impressive performances for the Southern League side – in addition to scoring a number of vital goals – Koszela had only recently been named as Town’s Player of the Month, and although the injury sustained in Saturday’s defeat at home to Chesham will keep him out for the forseeable future, the United boss has no doubt he will be back in action again in due course.

“We’re really disappointed for Olaf,” said Johnson.

“He was having a terrific season at Dorchester, only to be unlucky to get his injury. We wish him well, and we’re in daily touch with him. He’s had his operation, which was successful, and he’s recovering at at home with his family.

“He’s still a young man, he’ll get over it,  and the club will support him until his return. We’re sure he’ll come back stronger.”
