The Club will once again be auctioning off the special edition poppy shirts worn by the first-team, with all profits raised going to the Royal British Legion.
As a Club, TUAFC believes that paying its respects to all those who lost their lives in battle is of the utmost importance, and is proud to continue honouring the sacrifices of fallen, whilst also supporting the work of the Royal British Legion in helping members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families.
Our annual poppy shirt auction has remained a popular way for supporters to own a unique piece of Club memorabilia, whilst also raising valuable funds for the Legion, with last year’s raffle totalling over £2,000.
With this season’s poppy shirts worn during United’s televised 2-2 draw with Derby County, TUAFC is hoping that the added level of prestige that these shirts will carry will once again benefit the RBL, and assist them in the magnificent work that they undertake.
Our 2022 auction will run until 4pm on Friday November 18th 2022. Regular updates will appear on the Club website throughout the week, with bidders required to email [email protected] with their name, phone number, and bid details.
Below is a list of the current highest bids as of 6pm on 11/11/22:
Please Note: There will be a £50 reserve on each player’s shirt
