New signing Arman Little is eager to get started ahead of United’s first pre-season match away to Bideford AFC on Tuesday night (kick-off 7:30pm).
“I’m buzzing for the game,” said Armani. “These early matches in pre-season are obviously about getting the fitness in and it’s good practice for the boys to bond and play as a team again.
“Most fans won’t have seen me play yet, so I want to showcase myself and play as well as I can. It’s about getting used to playing with your teammates and getting the minutes in.”
The Yellow Army were delighted when Armani signed, and they’ll be pleased to hear that the creative midfielder is enjoying his time at TUFC.
“I’m really enjoying it,” added Armani. “Training has been good and there’s been a lot of double sessions. I’m beginning to gel with the squad now – it’s going well.
“Having a good pre-season sets you up for a good start of the actual season. There’s a lot of running but it’s all part of the game – it has to be done!”
