After Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Maidstone United, TUFC head coach Gary Owers is assessing his personnel options ahead of Tuesday night’s visit to Leyton Orient.

“I’ve got to consider everyone,” said Owers. “By and large I have kept with the same team and lads are getting frustrated but, I go with what I see in training, in the games. Obviously, everyone is under consideration.”

United are currently are 9 points from safety with an inferior goal difference over Barrow in 20th place with 10 games to go.

“We’re coming off the back of two defeats against Sutton and Maidstone and in both games we were value for points but we got nothing. It’s our own fault and we’re at the stage in the season now where every point is critical. I thought we had the best three chances of the game on Saturday. We have to turn the chances into goals.

“I’ve never been to Orient before so I’m looking forward to that. That’s going to be my first visit there. We played very well at home against them. Different circumstances now with Just [Edinburgh] going in. We expect a tough game.

Josh Gowling came back from injury to replace Jakub Sokolik at half-time in Saturday’s match against Maidstone. He is available for inclusion despite not having trained since. Sokolik has recovered from the bout of sickness and is available.

The last time the two side met United came out 3-0 winners. Goals from Josh McQuoid, Luke Young, and Jamie Reid secured United the points on the day. Since then Orient have edged away from the relegation zone with notable wins over Sutton United (4-1), AFC Fylde (1-0), and Dover Athletic (4-3).

The Yellow Army will once again be eating up the miles to support the team tonight. If you can make the game, then please come along to support the lads.

Tonight’s match will be broadcast countywide on BBC Radio Devon FM and DAB.
