Jamie Joins On Loan

UNITED have signed versatile forward Jamie Reid on a six-month loan from Exeter City.

It is Jamie’s third spell with United and he played an integral role in our great escape last season, operating in a number of positions with great effect.

Manager Kevin Nicholson is anticipating a breakthrough season for Reid and a chance to show he is capable of making the step up to become a regular Football League player.

“It’s great to have Reidy back,” said Nicho. “He did well for us in difficult circumstances last season and I expect him to kick-on this time around.

“He’s a fantastic athlete, a good character who can play in several positions, which is an important asset for our squad.

Reidy is highly motivated to progress, as this is his last chance to show Exeter boss Paul Tisdale that he should be playing League football and show me he is worthy of a permanent deal should that opportunity arise. I’m expecting a very positive season for Reidy.
